With the 1.70 patch introduction of 'sleepmode' into the game so that a second account running on the same pc runs much easier when its minimised, you really think theres any point in complaining about buffbots anymore?

GOA/Mythic are positively encouraging the use of buffbots (so that they can make extra money of course). The way things are going they will soon be banning people for not using a buffbot.

Dont get me wrong I hate buffbots, hate the way they totally unbalance the game and wish they didnt exist. Hell the concept that someone with 2 accounts beats someone with 1 account when it comes to combat is appalling.

But Daoc for sure is the wrong game to complain about them in because they are actually expected and made easier to use by those in charge (one of the main reason I will soon be playing WoW).

a bit off topic and whiny but here goes ;

BB has ruined much of the fun for me in daoc, the fact that you can do everything 10x faster just with a buffbot. I cba with bgs anymore ... the fact that I loose vs people just because they have a bb and I dont its totally lame. Fully buffed infs and scouts all over, dont really see the challenge. The game is also encouraging people to get buffbots ( hello there greedy mythic!) and as Sindi said the 1.70 sleep mode for second client just shows their attitude towards it. Level an artifact without a buffbot.. omg, is that working as intended?

Basically just agreeing with Sindi here and I will also be playing WoW soon =)

I dont have a bb, but as solo hunter i still kill more than my fair share of enemys, criting most enemy scouts in the 600+ and upto 750 on casters in molvik

true bb players make life harder but it just makes every kill that much sweeter!

Finally a good group in braemar for a little over an hour tormented the albs and mids with a vw,a ranger as well as myself a warden still took groups of albs over over 12 people to run us out
For those that fought as similar numbers good fight, for those who ran about zerging - lol

I encountered loads of mids and hibs that were buffed to the bone. I wasnt buffed yesterday and got killed more that i killed ppl. True infils are mean, and buffed I normaly stand a chance vs red con Sb's and Ns's.

Anyway I would like to ask you hibbys why ur so damn rude? Evertime you manage to kill me, you /rude and /laugh at me. Is this the general way you behave? Yes Ì know adding etc is anyoing, and I do yell at my realm m8s when adding in a fair fight, doesnt stop them tho. But I dont see any reason why you have to be rude.... but ofc getting ur ass kicked by a blue con infil is kinda embaresing

i for one never /rude or /laugh at anyone i fight
i generally /bow if i know im gonna get slaughtered and salute or bow when i win
Damage an alb inf can testify to this... good fights last night all be it brief lol
