Boycott CF

Just about to hit 42 for the first time ( I'm a slower leveller) and I'm already bleeding sick of CF, queing for fin grps etc... Am I the only player that wants to actually enjoy earning their levels???


Surely there must be other places where lvl 40s can earn their xp in a slightly less monotonous way?

All suggestions welcome and valued

I was in a 4fin group late last night ... was kind of fun ... I think im getting ill or something. Might have been the hour as there wasent realy any hasle or locomotion about the hole thing.

my Eldie is currently 45 & aiming to get 50 without ever meeting a Finliath There are plenty of interesting places to group and get XP away from CF, here are some of my favorites

Classic:

The "Pit" of Corus - not meaning just sitting there pulling Abys on the slope - its rare enough anyway that its not camped by a manachanter PLing a level 10... I mean go around the back way past the Weeweres into the actual pit and pull the mobs there and the back end of the Aby room. great fun for all the family. This is a fave in our guild

Bog of Cullen is fantastic! Banshees are great fun, Black Wraiths near Alainn Binn are great fun to kill & nice drops too - Raven Wraiths are a bit harder reccomend for a 45+ group really but good fun too. Guardians/Archmagi one of my favorite spots in game and was my camp of choice for getting my druid's 50.

Sheeroe Hills - I still love warshades, they're comical work your way around the right hand wall to the most popular camp. I always found killing Azures a bit ... dull

In SI:

Ixthiar nests near Aalid Feie - manic fun runnning around nuking everything in sight in hope of luring out the Broodmother. Thinking, Fast moving, certainly not sat on your backside while some chanter focus pulls here!

Fomorians! (anywhere be it Fomor, Tur Suil, or "loose") - They are just so comical and no outing would be complete without nuking poor Oscar!

Go nuts, go off the beaten track, live dangerous, play in non-trad groups with whoever you can find and tailor your prey to that - rather than sitting doing nothing because you can't find a bard..
