Kill cornwall hunters (around moor boogeys, and there is a camp behind cornwall st.) - You can also find the bracers in forrest sauvage, if you hug the wall to your right, when leaving castle sauvauge, you'll end up at a big forrest hunter camp, they drop them to, but they are neutral and messing with them wouldn't be the best idea, so stick to cornwall hunters.

You can get them from Boogeys. That's were my Paladin got his from. (Went straight to my scout alt.)

Its a random Cornwall/Keltoi drop. Just a little rare is all.

On the subject of Corn. Hunter/Keltoi drops - if anyone has a pair of Crypt Robber Bracers or a Gem of the Prowler spare, I'd be glad to give it a good home, even if you do wish to accomadate a bit of my gold in the process..

Rare? Make that ultra rare!

I have gotten permission from Archon, the World Dev in charge of treasure and objects to post this information:

There are misconceptions about how rare and uber-rare loot is distributed. Loot in DAoC is a percentage based thing. Each time a mob dies, each item or subtable on its loot table is rolled on. Rare items are invariably on subtables, so you get one piece of rare loot at a time, if any.

In particular, scouts are wracking their brains over where they might find the uber-rare Bowmasters Bracers. Since I also play a scout, I'm going to use that item as an example. If you feel you need more details, the soon-to-be-released Prima map book is going to have tables for what mobs drop what loot.

The Bowmasters Bracers has a frequency of about 3 to 6 drops out of every 10,000 kills of mobs that it can drop from. Many scouts have heard that it drops from named mobs in in Keltoi and from the camp of Cornwall Hunters behind Cornwall Station, leading to overcrowding of those locations, and reduced chances for a particular scout to get that lucky drop. What is missing is that many other mobs have a chance to drop these bracers as well, and those that hunt in other locations will get better experience (more uncamped bonuses, less waiting for spawns, and better chances of finding a level appropriate mob) as well a better chance per individual of getting the drop.

Some of these other mobs are common mobs found throughout Keltoi, several types of popular mobs spread throughout Cornwall, bwgan fishermen and cythraul in Llyn Barfog, howling maidens and knifemen in Snowdownia, foresters in Forest Sauvage, and various named mobs in Keltoi, Llyn Barfog, Pennine, Snowdownia, and Hadrian's Wall.

Oh well, just gave two of mine to my partner in crime, Ehlias. Figured that since he can use them, he may as well have them. i just had them wasting away in my vault. That flirty sonuvagun had better not use it to woo my ladies, or else we'll be having words! I might have a third one lying around somewhere..if I find it ill let you know. never realised how rare they were, got mine with no trouble whatsoever.

3-6kills out of 10000 eh? well, I guess I struck gold then, because I got my first two from soloing those hunters from lvl 25-28 not sure how may i killed, but it certainly wasnt 10000 of them
