Is it me or is camping excal road the "in-thing"

i dont mind the odd few ppl
(take care gustav your orange con now, and can i have my pitcher of ale back ?)

Yesterday i headed out to start my 45 epic from sauvage not 2 seconds in the forest and 2 skalds and a shaman killed me, i bounced back again and again around 8 times before they realized they got no RPs at all then they finally let me pass......

only for me to get 200 yards down the road and run into a bloody FG of hibs who proceeded to stand in full view of anyone right outside sauvage and grey gank for about an hour.
Guess after the 8th wave of the BG infiltrator crew they gave up and went home

me and a mercenary friend stood outside yggdra for an hour and waved on every grey we saw, we even sat and had an ale with a young dwarf called sirtyler

well i guess what im trying to say in my long winded and boring way is.....
Are albs the only realm who dont camp n00b spots ?

or

So really guys let me know is it something that happened before i started playing cam ?
did albs camp the gorge non stop for 5 weeks ?

From someone who's been xp killed more than 100 times (yes, 100), i find that hard to believe, as 90% of those were albs

but honestly ive never xp killed, never tried to, never will.
I try to avoid killing greys
and XP killing greys is right out

i never posted this to flame any1, and i was never aware of how much albs do camp grey xp spots. I was simply asking why midgard and hibernia seem to have it in for albion's wee n00blets such as myself who need to get into sauvage to do 99% of our epics.

I have no gripes about being xp killed in the frontier, it happens. These days, I just log on my main and get some easy rps, but not everyone has a lvl 50 sitting just around the corner.

And if you have trouble getting into the frontier, bring some friends

portal keep at sausage, grabbing a few friendly lvl 50's to get some easy rps can't really be that hard

hate to agree with middies but Alb INVENTED camping greyby spots

and if 1fg of hibbies in sauvage great ...

/as 1fg of mid/hibs camping sauvage lets group up at sauvage and kill em...meet me out back....

it`s our realm and they won`t go away by magic we have to brutaly send them home in bits

to be honest i love it when there`s middies hippies in sauvage saves me 10s and getting ganked at AMG

just wondering, but did anyone esle notice how stafford's initial story progressed? he says there's 3 mids camping right outsdie sauvage bk, after they eventually let him by he runs into 1fg of hibs on their way to the bk too.

then a yell goes out of

funny how 3ppl == 2 fg, and 1 fg == 3 fg rofl.

any way more to the point, albs do it as much if not more than the other two realms.. if I ever go to yggdra it's not cos I hope to find mids there (hardly any these days) but rather cos I expect to find some albs camping the few greys there that I can kill (the albs not the greys :p ).

And one last thing.. since when is a group of lvl 40+ lowbies? and this point a well organised group of lvl 40+s can take out groups of 50s no hassle, especially since you are bound 2 seconds away so if they kill you you are back right away..

hehehe Stafford...we still haven't sat down for a nice pitcher of ale. I'm sorry about the last time, we got rudely interrupted by some decidedly unfriendly ppl who obviously are part of the alchocol licensing board. :)

I try not to grey con kill, i usally show myself to them, wave or bow and let them go on their merry way. I am sorry abt the few I have killed, anyway its probably because they attacked me first or I'm just trying to stir things up on a slow day. If I'm solo or in a small group I 'usually' let the recently killed pass by if it looks like they are going somewhere and not trying to hunt me down. But in the heat of the moment and of course group dynamics with any large group its just kill everyone that comes, it usually brings out more ppl to play with.

I love Sauvage camping, I've met some great players and really honourable adversaries in my time there. Sangenious (old-hard-to-kill), Danhyr, Rachey, Warshade (damn), Mysteh, Xorta, Sycho, Maxgirth, Superlaws, Godbeast, Bilz and even some hibbies like Jamies and Borg.

and Stafford, when I become Yellow con to you I fear that day, you bloody friars hit too hard. I hope my new spear damage and summond pets can take you down but I fear its not gonna be easy.

This is the Hib version of it:

We port to hadrian, our 6 person group finds a group of 7 mids and take them down, we go around end up at MMG when they return and we wipe them again. We wonder if they will come back one more time and well there they are but this time they manage to actually kill one of us and since we had no healers we went back to meet her at HPK.

She returns, MMG empty, we move to sauvage to gank some crafters, running on the road we see a single friar coming (you), dead friar, we think yey now albs will know we are here and hopefully come, continues to sauvage, kill 3 mids of which at least one had been at MMG earlier, see albs coming including you start ganking albs, when it didn't seem like any new albs would come out and play we suicided to run and defend crim.

Now play hibernia a little. Xping in gorge is close to impossible.
Play midgard. There is a reason why noones is in yggdra.
Play albion. Oh no one death message each 2:nd day :rolleyes:

We want to have some fun, then you expect to us to spare you?

And btw, we were 8 by the time we reached sauvage but our 2 naturalists (healers and rezzers in hibernia) died right away, so your 3 FG were 6 hibs having some fun :D You could have easily avoided us by going straight W out of the BK but you kept running into us.

Yes and I did just that at the weekend, you gave me a decent amount of RP's for a lowbie btw. Thanks for unstealthing and speeding right into my PA.

I wasnt bothered about you I was hunting the group of albs that had decided they would gank lowbies, killing you and your stealthy chum was a bonus :)

Thanks gustav,you are a pretty clever hunter yourself always seem to be hard to find and around a tree that i have just gone past:eek: .Anyway i actually like hibs and mids coming in the frontier often they probably fed up of the emain zerging crap like me and many others,fair play to them all and for making good battles in the frontier:D
