bos and bom

i was camping the bom island (been there for 2 houirs) for the guild tonight i put my boat in middle of the 3 island so that peeps would know it was camped but low and be hold while i was typing message to guild some grp started pulling say how was i camped there it was not till i said screener taken that they accepted my offer to grp then random but to wait for rest of my grp part of this was taken the grp bit they started pull striaght away was lucky i got the key so i could wait for guildies to get there for credit (which they did but would they have) and yes we did random 100 for it

this has happen on a couple of riads lately so my question is

dose parking your boat smack bang in the middle of the pop area not meaning anything any more ? or should i be doing some thing else as if i have sat there for hours (longest being 18hours between 3 toons) only camp arties that guildies needs credit or the artie, not farming as if i do see any one that needs an artie ill go help them get it as i know hw much of a pain they can be to get

Wasn't there so haven't got a clue as how it all passed by, but parking a ship in between the isle won't make sure that all see that You are there..

If You come swimming from Stygia there's no guarantee that you'll get as far as to in between the isles, BoS/BoM may be up on the northern-most isle.


Camping a spot doesn't give you the encounter-rights, the first that pulls and are able to complete the encounter gets it - having said that I think that the campers should be given 'reasonable' time to gather the ppl needed to do it.

But according to the CoC these guys didn't do anything wrong, and actually let You join them. And may not have seen you was there before starting to pull

Placing the boat only shows people that someone is close, but being close does not entitle you to do the encunter. Some people will start pulling right away but others (who sees the boat) might check out the situation before taking any actions...

In short, boat means jack all but it's a clever thing to do since some people will take the hint

(hence no names) as it all worked out well in the end just wanted to see if their was like a reognized way of showing interest (/that your camped) sort of thing

I learn't the hard way and never camp arti's anymore. Just aint worth the time and hassle. If you want it you'll get it eventually.

eughm, parking your boat near an arti encounter does does not give you the exclusive rights over that encounter, or 2 encounters in this case.
Imagine the extra frustration(s) if everyone and their alts were to park a boat near an encounter and 'save' it for when they got time/people to do them

Arti camping suks

IMHO artis are not to be camped i agree with most ppl that arti camping suks . think what would be if all ppl left and alt or bb at arti camp and you came there and you would not be able to pull it Thouw i agree that it's rude not ask id you see a person there who has been there before for him/her to enter you bg if you got the ppl to do the arti or ask him/her to join her bg if you need credit . This all depends on the ppl's character

No it doesnt, and no it never did.

You camping there for hours means nothing either: if you want to do it its your choice but it does NOT guarantee you the right to anything - except probably a boring few hours

like i said already ok but it was my mian by the way and i said we grped in the end there 3 and the 5 that were with me, 3 at the time they came but guess iwas just be silly so never mind
