First time in thid for over a year with my skald wisdom

Now i have a fight with someone and end up on low hp then some stealther comes along and 1 hits me.... i mean whats the point.... not only do you deprive yourself of a proper fight but you shorten the life of your thid char by adding to its rp total.... just anoying aswell as the fact that as the alb way has prevailed in thid.... all roll stealthers.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

have been playing about with the onagers tho which has been class :) set up an onager at mpk due to getting stealth zerged all the time ran out got zerged.... ran back up on 30% health and fired my onager and bang death scout hahaha i thought was really funny :) so did some laughs at him (sanussar) and now he emote spams me every time he zergs me, beacuse he cant kill me solo ofc :p

1 shotted a caster at ck gate while trying to do some damage aswell.... did about 1% :) best stop spending all my money on these things now hehe

thid sucks why go there if you can go to emain\odin\hw  :m00:

Personally I think that Thidranki represents the purest form of RvR available in the game today, for very little time investment you can personalise a character with good equipment that doesn't require hours and hours of farming and game time to achieve. I think that the fact that when you design a character with a certain spec and play style, only to have most of your abilities wiped out by an enemy who's skill level is irrelevant because he or she has spent the last 3 months solidly killing to get Monster Staff of rUberness 3 of 3 is more hassle than it's worth.

Again a lot of people play in Thidranki (sometimes exclusively - like myself) because we just don't have the time to spend on nine hour ML raids or scroll farming or artifact levelling. People have lives, family and other concerns without having to spend 40+ hours a week killing the same stuff endlessly for a 5% increase in this or that.

Many people use Thidranki as an excellent way of getting their first realm skills and fair play to them - I have no issues with getting zerged (which I do get oh so very often), but in Thidranki sometimes there's the magic hour, when all is quiet and you encounter a lone enemy, she bows to you and draws her blade. There and then you know that the outcome of the battle will depend on the faith you have in your experience and your skill. There's nothing like it that I've ever encountered in RvR outside of Thidranki, and for that reason I'll always be there - /level or not.

Thid sucks when one realm has numerical superiority over the other realm, in the same way rvr sucks in frontiers when that situation occurs.

LOL Brite. It always gives me a chuckle when I see people posting about how mids do this and albs do that. Do you seriously not think that any alb who goes to thid regularly hasn't been zerged or stealth zerged my mids and hibs??

There's loads of diff classes in thid on all sides and yes there's always quite a few stealthers too, and yes there's far too much pk camping by albs and mids.

As far as you moaning about getting killed because you were low on health......what's the problem with that? Happens to me all the time. Where do you draw the line? don't attack each other unless you are both 100% health? Don't go to help a realm mate who is under attack because it's fair to leave them 1v1? And I must say there's nothing more sad (or immature) than some kid spam emoting at you when you're dead. If you spam laugh at someone then you need to grow up.

What Lyne said is spot on, Thid can be fun as it's RvR as it should be. Much more of a level playing field. Only thing we need more of are hibs!!!

Well, we have /level 20 again, and much hib action these last few days. With great effort of mine, by inviting all the peeps that can go to thid.

Heh Saur it certainly has been good to have hibs in thid again. Well, not when you one shotted me with a nasty bolt, but it's nice to get killed while watching a different spell effect for a change :)

hehe :p I have named a part of ck, as Bolt Beach, since in that place, is very easy to bolt, and run withou getting annoyed by the archers :p

Ofc u thidians know which part i'm talking about :p Expect not to see more stealthers there, since 2 of those had a bad ending (dead :p), with a help of a NS and a Ranger :p

Due to the general lack of team work in Thid, stealther classes is one way to avoid the mindless soloruns every regular class seems to cherish in. If we get a few hibbie guild groups to Thid I guess the two other realms have to shape up a bit to avoid getting steamrolled over all the time, making regular classes more viable. :)

I've been going to thid very often lately, but most of the times i'm the only caster there, or class that can't stealth. When i have a group (only got one time to Full) we do great, because usually we do team work, so, what we need is people. When we have them, we'll rule thid. :p

Zergs always rule in Thid, no matter which realm that does it ;)

Thidranki has a lot of potential if:

- you give your enemies room to play and do not camp bridges or portal keeps
- you dont hide in ck if there are equal numbers
- you adapt your power to enemies power to get interesting fights

just my 2 cents

p.s. if you feel overpowered, just skip your bot-buffs ;)

>Oohw!!! time to level alts to 24 then

Yes do that, I noticed last night that the hibbies make just as good pincushions as the albses, get them while they are ripe :D

I made a super pincushion last night - I've been playing a druid so long I've no clue how to play a ranger :)

Oh while I remember, has anyone any clue what class Gruntil (Trollish fellow) is? He hit my druid like a train! 172 damage with one axe swing, ouch!
