bored in work so i made my shades SC is it any good?

RIght i was bored in work and i messed about with my shade. The drops im using are pretty standard except the marfach bracer which was a random drop i got a while back that i cant wait to try out

My way of thinking is that I will be aiming to get the wee guy to RR5 eventually and will have the + bonus from that as well to help me out :)

by not having to take the skills right up to their cap ive been able to cap all melee resists and all important stats i think

The 2-handed rapier has a bonus to CS on it as I believe this is what affects things like PA and creeping death? am i right? will this improve my dmg doing this?

i didnt oc with my voideys gear and it still is nice

dont want it going boom on me i guess

31/28 and even 32/28 is 100% safe if using 99 qual gems and a 1000+ spellcrafter. No risk whatsoever, havent heard of anyone that has had their items blown up as long as the gems were 99 qua and the spellcrafter 1000+ skill.

Oh and get some celtic dual and critical strike, it really helps.

5point over charge is safe so long as you use 99% gems

That's pretty gimp tbh. Other than overcharging, you should look at the 1.60 SI rings quest, they're much better than DF rings.

Good idea getting 1 weapon with CS, i did the same when i imbued my stuff, so i have a Guarded Rapier with +Critical +Stealth to PA things n 2 Long Dirks for straigh melee

yes u need to overcharge..
and its close to riskfree..
i OC'ed my chanters set all parts 4-5 points.. no fails

and also as someone said... SI rings+bracer+necklace+belt from quests. (aslong as u got SI that is)

is it worth capping strength though surely resists would be better?

Also what resists are the most important to a shade? Melee?

yes it is, stuff that isn't overcharged is pretty crap

imo, if you don't overcharge it, then you've wasted the money getting the item crafted anyway

and 99% stuff is cheap :p

also on your gems and stuff (belts/rings etc) look for stuff with the highest utility, you got a lot of crap items in that list

well pierce is 50/50 str/dex so .. just cap everything :eek:

im counting with 1.61 necklace in my template for me ranger.. caps everything (well all resists 23+) including 4 skills with just 2 MP parts

I capped everything with my NS bar 2 resists.. which get near to cap depending on what weps i use,,

As others have said,, get the 1.6 twin rings + the CD belt from Rhiowyns quest.

Mp leather + 5 point OC i didnt fail once ;)
