so i'm wondering about respeccing my best friends hunter ( since he hasn't activated is for hmm 4 month's ) from spear to sword , is this viable ? if so what sword ? he's atm 50 spear/45bow/35stealth i believe so think i'll be going 50 wep spec then.

so tell me which swords are best to use ? ( money ain't the issue here mind ).


wanna setup a plan when i get back internet in ~2 weeks so i can get started so everything will be helpfull maybe if anyone have a sword template for hunter would be usefull to see also.

Viable will BB, not viable without BB.

Would still say spear styles r better but then again the defence is shocking.

And yes I am at work until 12 when Im just going and driving to Cornwall from Oxford

been reading alot on Vnboards and here about some opinions of going sun sword or even energy lgm weps instead of battler any comments on what goes best? or rather should i say "ok" ?

I'm on every day almost - but hunter ^^ - since shes not TOA'd and still need to get arties to lvl 10 on my healer + PLing BB - cant play Korona
But I have 2 hunters now Korona - Norse - 50
Uteliggare - Kobbie - 49.5
LOL - still like my healer more
(and Alex ...- I WILL QUIT THEN DAOC servers will be closed - not b4 that )

Never tried sword on hunter, and doubt i will ever try it. Spear hurts alot more since its str/dex based. That way you can punch more than sword, which is only str.

I think the spear styles are nice, not to mention your damage. Battler might be nice for its procs and chargeds, but many spears are nice aswell

On the other hand, its just a matter of play style and roleplaying ^^

Can put battler in 1h slot for the charge. Proc is useless.

If someone is on about dmg type, well spear can be slash and thrust as well.
