Boots of Stealthy Evasion

Leather AF 78, stealth +5, dex +10 (level to attain 39).

Any one have these boots?


Geiri in Nalliten tells you about a secret that he wants to know more about. He sends you to discover [Cargila's 9000] lives. Cargila is a Timber Cat.

Go to Skona Ravine and look for Cargila. She is a rare spawn near the entrance to Varulvhamn dungeon. Loc is 15k, 20k.

After you kill her, she drops Boots of Stealthy Evasion, and then go back to Geiri and say [magical boots] to finish the quest.

Leather AF 78, stealth +5, dex +10 (level to attain 39).

Im only lvl 32, but if its possible to get em I will pay..msg Poi ingame.

i'v never read that quest on warcry .... but then again im a Thane not a hunter .... and iv never see the cat Sounds to like you havent gotten the quest yet (the lvl 32 and the required lvl 39 is my clue here), I cant find on warcry (as said before) and allakhazam is down atm, but it sounds to me like its a quest not in this patch.

If i'm wrong here please could someone post the quest on either one of the two pages, so every one can read about it

The boots I got when I did this quest (prepatch and I hired a lvl 42 to do it for me but anyways) was a pair of boots that had +5 evade not +5 stealth.

well it was a guy on the gawaine server(US) who told me it has +5 stealth...so +5 evade will be +5 stealth in one off the next patches

I saw that cat yesterday and the group l was with, killed the cat. Lucky me, l got the boots from it (l have forgotten that l had the quest )
The boots didn't have +5 stealth, but +5 evade. I gave the boots to the SB in the group, and he seemed very happy with the boots.

DONT do the quest now , you will get the bots with +5 evade and that does as we all know NOTHING for your char , i say this because who knows if the boots you get now will be changed to 5 stealth or stay with 5 evade aka being sucky

I disagree

I consider evade a most important ability for a shadowblade. I tend to evade most of the time in solo fights and since I got the boots I have also been able to evade in stealth mode and keep the stealth unbroken. Personally I consider them a very good item for a shadowblade.

How the ... do you evade in stealth mode ??? You kind of have to be targeted and being hit at to evade a blow, I would think if someone is trying to hit you , your no longer in stealtmode , but please enlighten me

And yet a again I say +100000 to evade would not make a difference on those boots, as the +evade does absolutely nothing for your char, as posted several times on camelot herald and VN boards

Stealth is first broken when you take damage, that is why you can get mezzed/debuffed/evade and still be in stealth mode.

If evade dont matter on items, then I am one hell of a dancer

Besides, a lot of rubbish is posted on the message boards as if it is some kind of universal truth, but I assume those post have been confirmed by Mythic?
