Bonedancers

I have recently started a bonedancer so far im specced 8 surpression and 3 bone army and im struggling.

My pet is green to me and when i attack oranges i always die and yellows i can just take as pet cant keep aggro. On my first pet heal the mob runs for me.

Please help am i specced wrong or am i playing the char wrong, i read that a bonedancer is an easy class to solo. My lvl 9 berzerker can solo most oranges and my Bonedancer can just take yellows.

Stick to Yellows until you get your first helaler pet

at your 15th season I think, at least you get the opportunity to have two pets by then, it might be at level 18 you get your first healer pet but I am not sure.

Best to stick with one spec or other. I found it very easy to go BA to 20 then respec to supp

At 15th you get a buffer pet. (Crap)
I heard the healer pet was 18/19 or so.

I was killing yellow/oranges all the way to 15 with my full supp bd and the only times i died was when I got very unlucky with resists just get a poX from a crafter in Gna or something.

Is'nt a suppr Bondancer supposed to have aggro so they can use their "insta win button" (Lifetap)??

Spec Darkness for Nuker and Debuffer Pets
Spec Suppression for Buffer and Healer Pets
Spec Bone Army For Archer and Warrior Pets

The Bone Commander is Baseline Bone Army so no need to spec for him.

If i want to solo PVE which would be best spec and would that be best spec for RVR as well if not which is best RVR spec

well supp is easy all round
only thing i found in pve it took quite some time to kill mobs, unless u mana dump lifetaps on mobs but then massive downtime, or keep power >50% (regens quicker) but then u have to staff fight mobs a lot more - which takes a lot of time
not tried BA spec but i guess its the best for pve? dunno bout BA for rvr tho, supp is too good to miss out on ;p

the BA spec is the king of high leval PvE because of the 3 warrior pets you get, but they suck in rvr due to the fact that they are green con.

Supp is the best around line.

do kill tasks in ageir from 5-20, 20+ u can solo oranges with the healer pet + a PoX, otherwise the downtime can be a tad long

30+ and the supp BD becomes a god, get a buffer + healer pet, go into spindel and solo spindels (the spiders), ur pets can solo em without ur help, u can stay here till 40 (note, the spindels turn orange at 34)

40+, its malmo or df....i would recommend supp/dark combo at this time for the rvr, as darkness gives you a all important body debuff (beleive me, its a great spell), remember that as supp....u have to combine baseline + insta + body debuff to do 400+ dmg, which uses a heck of a lot of mana, so get PoXs/mcl/acuity buff/focus staffs.

good specs for rvr:

47 supp

26 dark

this is my end spec, it gives best healer pet, best insta and a 15% body debuff, which is on a different timer to insta (5 secs)

or

47 supp

26 BA

this is another popular spec because it gives you a AE DoT, which is useful in rvr (i didn't spec this cause it doesn't give debuff and the baseline isn't very reliable)

as you can see, supp is the most important rvr spec for the BDs, i'm not sure if 47/26 (BA/supp or dark/supp or even BA/dark) would work very well

i think i'd be more tempted to go for the 30% body debuff and the 2nd bestlifedrain, dmg might be higher/equal that way, and overall you'll be using less power

yeah but u sacrefice the high level healer pets, so u get a very weak healer that doesn't heal as well

I'm at 20 and levelling my full BA BD to 24.. and Yellow con goes down with a dobble DoT Oranges also but some help from pets are needed, if both DoT sticks on low red they also go down with the DoT's and help from pets. This goes damn fast no need for rest for pow when I got "the focus" .
