hi all

discovered how to split pets on 2 mobs :)

not sure if this has been posted before, but heres how:-

1. make sure ur supp spec (may work on BA, not sure)

2. have a buffer pet + a healer

3. set ur commander on a mob (make it yellow/orange not red)

4. change ur commanders target BEFORE it gets to the origanal mob

5. buffer pet will go for the origanal mob while commander eats into the new 1

6. boom! you can solo 2 yellow at same time no problem :)

got 7 blobs in 1 hour solo at lvl 37 using this :)

If this is a feature and not a bug, it could almost, possibly make bonedancers usefull in fg RvR. Almost.

er if you get adds during a fight aditional pets will go for the adds once they strike at you...

not a bug ...Pet AI

I have notice that if you have more than on mob on you your Commander can wander around targets leaving 99% damaged ones alive... which must be a bug?

Its the same in BA (which I had specced to 40 before being forced I felt to respec to only slightly less mental pets).

I've noticed most pet class players don't play their class as a pet class and pretty much ignore the pet(s) most of the time. I think this is partly why suppression is popular for bonedancers because everyone just loads up 3 healer minions and forgets about their pets from then on.

I actively use my pets in both PvE and RvR both as SM and bonedancer. Everyone wants your pets to passive when grouped in PvE because they leech xp if used, but when the poo is flying off the fan, they can be a real help, even in places like Malmo. In RvR I use them to harass casters/healer classes while I get on with doing damage.

Yup, always does it, can be annoying if you have rooted one and a pet runs at it.

its deffo a feature.

also a few other things

bd pets only take exp in propotion to the ammount of damage thay do and at a reduced rate so even if you do have them tanking in a groop its an insignificent amount.

If you only use the bone commander and healer pets he will only attack mobs that attack the bd or that he is orderd to attack if on defensive so he will not brake roots.mezzes etc.

BD's are excelent in RvR in and out of groops the idea that BD's are no good in groop RvR is rubbish the disruption and panic thay can cause amongst an enamy groop vastly outweighs any downside especially if you can get 2 or more BD's in the groop at the same time.
