I'm told BD's are solid RVR and BG classes. Is this true?

If so, whats the best way to spec one?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

one of the most used specs are 47 sup / 26 dark

with that specc you would get the last lifetab and a fairly okay baseline nook with +11 from items and RR5 (effective 41 dark)

alternatevly you could go 48 sup / 24 dark to get the last healer pet and you will still have the 15% debuff with 24 dark...

anyway it will be a 1 button for the win!!! class =P

47 supp 26 dark is the way to go

no need for the last healer as it is 1 lvl above the lvl limit, and the second to last healer pet is capped at lvl 36 :)

50 supp = utter crap as u can't get the debuff in the dark line

high dark is shit, no need to spec in it, only spec dark for the debuffs.

high BA is ok for pve, but suffers in rvr.

supp gives you a good anti tank/caster spell (instant lifedrain) and with new DD means you nuke for more now, and it has the only really useful pet in rvr (healer pet)

just watch out, the supp spec may make you very good against tanks, but CC is ur bane...and healer pets are unreliable to say the least, and a good infil/NS makes short works of you

just remember that 2 healers pets (high spec) is much better then 3 healer pets (low spec).

and /spacing huge and /form line should be macroed as they prevent ya healer pets from getting mezzed, so u can survive more then 4 secs.

be careful of mentals and any class with stun styles, as they can quickly cut you down, and mentalists can use StT, which means u die in most cases.

also the BD is a solo class from 1-40, theres little point in teaming as you can normally take oranges with no DT, 40+ this is way to slow so go malmo or df.

btw, the BD is a more then 1 button class, as you need to combine 3 spells (insta + dark DD + debuff) to get any dmg in grp combat.

My boney is 47 sup, 25 dark, 8 BA. The points went into BA rather than dark for the extra pet buff which is small, but handy :)

I rarely run with 2 healer pets.
