Well 48 supp is good for pve/cash farming coz you get your last healer at 48/supp

i use to solo umbroods kinda easy good coz its slow pop and use like 50% power on each mob if you wanna kill them fast

the rest of your points donnu where to put them

i puted them in ba coz of ae dot :p

well thats what i can say but im not the best bd in the game maby some1 else got something more too add

well.. if ur just gonna farm and dont really care about what level the mobs are u could always go for 48 BA and rest supp.... that way u can farm hords of greencons with the ae dots and still have a healer to keep u alive with a low lifetap... have a mate with that specc and hes doing really good... can easy do 2 or 3 orangecons at a time with that specc...

or u could go 48 supp and rest in darkness to get the first body debuff.. works nice with the lifetap....

tho 38/38 supp/BA is also viable for farming... :)

48 suppression, rest in darkness. This will give you last healer pet (lvl48), best lifetap (lvl47), 15% body debuff (trust me, you'll need it more than a lame DoT from the BA spec line). The points in darkness will also help you decrease variance in damage from your baseline darkness DD; which I highly recommend you use.

This spec is, from both personal experience and secondhand experience, the best RvR spec. Going higher than supp in any of the other (inferior) specs is basically flogging your own arse. Darkness pets are wank, BA dots are also wank (compared to other DoT classes' DoT's) and the BA BD will rely on his pets to do most of the dmg and pets are mezzed 90% of the time in RvR anyway.

If you're making a PvE BD (not that I would ever understand why) you should probably go BA or a split between BA and Supp. Supp is very costly if you calculate the power cost to damage output ratio, whereas BA is probably noticeably better than Supp. If I were to make another BD, I would go BA until lvl40 where I would respec to Supp. This should increase the XP'ing time a notch.

Probably not, but that text is an error that hasn't been fixed. The debuff does debuff body, and it always have. Having a debuff in the same line as the damage would be damn sick. :)

That makes you wonder why they ever implented darkness then, when they made the BD they expected every1 to go supp i guess :>

And i wouldent call it overpowered, i would say thats the love every caster needs to make em worth in rvr grps again :>

BD's do ok in rvr, I have been in full BD assist groups loads of times.

Pets on healers, all assist on the main CC'er in the group, 8 250-400+ instant lifetaps are pretty good at taking people out then mop up the rest.

Bit shite if you get messed without purge up though :F

We totally killed everything with this group. :)

Anyway. Against a good enemy group you'd probably get killed nonetheless. I don't think BD's do that well in group vs. group combat. Sure, having one BD in your group gives you a decent interrupt bot, but well ... He's soft like any other caster, has a low dmg output. I'd bring an SM instead. :)

BD is perfect for soloing or small group teaming, not dedicated, balanced RvR group combat ...
