Bolt Blockable???

after a large discusion On the topic mentioned above. we never realy got to a answer.

People say its part blockable..
but is it blocked then? u still recive dmg. so its not realy a block

Well, thats not really the original discussion.
You kept saying 'Bolts are unblockable!!' and we said they are partially blockable..
As far as if the partial block is a block or not I couldnt tell. :)

Yes it is blockable a bolt comming on to me.
but some of the partical energy flows around youre shield so in best case you only burn youre hand and get some dmg.
But still it landed on youre shield tho. (gonne make it reflect so you get youre bolt back :clap: )

I've sometimes got the message that I blocked part of a bolt. Only ever on Master Eldritches though ;)

Half the damage can be blocked, and is reduced by af/absorb.

Half the damage is affected by magic resists.

they can be "blocked because your target was in combat" and they can be partially blocked by shields - it's basically just having a shield gives you a 50% bolt-resistance...

I just remembered now that Edohadien also said 'Bolts can only be resisted!' which is not true.. :)
They can be partially blocked by a shield..

bolt's don't get resisted completely

(i.e. no You resist the effect!)

they can miss though.
