How hard is it to record "What U Hear"? I mean for crying out loud I've got a creative sound card that allows me to do it, I've got it set to record that way and yet no less than 5 different recording programs record FUCK ALL!

I don't know maybe it's because I'm trying to record from a flash object but that shouldn't make any difference. Anyone know how I can record straight from the damn flash object? It's a song, played via flash on the myspace page of the band. Apparently the only place in the world it fucking exists. Oh and it can't be bought or I'd do that.

To me MySpace is kind of old and so people don't do progs to rip off it much anymore - that's likely just my perspective. The Video Downloader looks a prospect if you use Firefox. And changing FLV to AVI/MP4 is hardly a problem nowadays. Hope this helps.

Ah yes, but seeming as things like freemusiczilla don't work anymore on MS, I was wondering if you could encode it to a video and then separate the audio track as an MP3 like some AVI/MP4 converters can?

Just throwing ideas out there.

THat goes way beyond my level of expertise. Looks like I'll have to find a quiet time to plug a mic in and point it at the speaker. I hate doing that.
