Any thoughts on this?

Watched it a couple of nights ago and thought it was reasonably good.. although given the stockbrokers were supposed to be people "making a million dollars within 3 years" - the fact that they drove around in "modest" Ferrari 355s and watched Wall Street on a entry-level size TV didn't seem to make much sense.

I would've expected them to be driving 360s and have huge plasma TVs..

Just a thought!

i agree watching wall street in ben afflecks million bucks house on a small telly was odd, despite being made in 1998 they coulda slaped in a 40+inch rear projector or somat

The idea is also the fact that these are brainless dicks. They wouldn't know a good telly if it came up and sat on their face. They may make a shit load of money but the whole thing with the trainees and the ones with any experience being kicked out right away tells you they're just training mindless clones to shut up and earn money for the company the way they're told to.

I like this film. It was among the first DVD's I bought so I've had it for quite a while now. Giovanni Ribesi (sp?) I think is a very underated actor and should be in lots more maiinstream stuff.

*looks at the time* EEK! I should be in bed!

I'm sorry. I should provide more entertainment for the masses.

I enjoyed this film a lot. It was very well made and created a lot of tension. I saw this ages ago so cant really comment much more cos my memory is failing me more each day :D

Definitely a film to see!!
