Hey,

Anyone know of any reputable bodyshops in the south east? someone decided to key my rear door, which I am sure provided them seconds of fun in their dull dreary life.

my car is fucked :<

someone hit it while it was parked up and left a massive scratch/dents along passanger door and farside panel (206 3 door so only has 7 panels overall)
that alone was probly enough to be a write off, but yestoday my mate reversed into me when we were leaving work, hit the passenger door and nearside panel......



so 4/7 panels in need of a spray and dents knocking out, makes the car totaly unsellable :<


unfortunatly the first guy was a hit and run overnight at some silly hour, and my mates only 19 so his insurance would rocket if i made a claim against him, seeing as it was already in a state where i can't resell it was no point in worrying about more dents,



may just turn it into a rally car! or drive like a cunt until someone hits me hard enough to be a write off just on the basis of the damage they cause

I told him not to worry about it, I've already excepted that my car is fucked, if he gave me money i wouldn't get it repaired due to the other side still making it unsellable, so no point him giving me money if i'm just gonna spent it on shit.

It's all just superficial damage but at the end of the day why put glitter on a turd

I wouldn't be so forgiving, you will need transport regardless and if he made your car unsellable why should he get away with it ?

If i did it to a mates car i'd pay up regardless if they wanted money or not as it's the right thing to do and i would expect the same in return

nah the dent he's done I can probly fix myself as it's at the front of the door/rear of front wing, it's the other side that's made it unsellable as it's all the way down the rear panel and passenger door and would probly cost more to repair than I could sell the car on for.

The way I see it is before he hit me I had a car I couldn't sell so will have to stick with for a few years, after he hit me I have a car I can't sell and will have to stick with for a few years, with a spare dent in it.

If it was in top condition and his hit had made it unsellable then, yes, I'd be fucked off, by why rape his insurance or make him give me money he doesn't really have when the end result will still be a car that is unsellable.

If the car is a shitter, then do the job yourself. The doors will be available from scrapyards (although dents can be pulled easily enough). You can rent a dent pulling kit and do that yourself too.

If it's metallic though, you're probably screwed.
