Just crashes immediately after I get into game now. End up with this crasy coloured pattern on the screen and have to restart my PC.

Never had any problems before and now this :/

Reinstalled and upgraded all the drivers I can think of. No change.

Hum i dont know whats wrong m8 you have a good system and its about the same spec as mine and i have no problems running it.

Have you defraged your drivers and tryed a scandisk on (thourgh) May be Spelt wrong.

erm only other thing that i can think of sice you updated you drivers is erm.......... well ill have a look into it for ya. what virus scanner have you got? have you downloaded anything new since you got the game and when it was working to now.

Defragging now. Drives seem pretty fragmented but never seen it have this kind of effect on anything.

I don't run a virus checker... maybe I should. Got norton disks here but it'd have to be a kind of "crash planetside" virus cos everything else works ok.

And not really willing to do total system reinstall. This first happened while I was playing so I think maybe my character has fallen into some corrupt part of the world or its server side data has become b0rked somehow.

Will try that memtest but don't hold out much hope for that being the problem really. Thanks for trying tho

I'd advise anyone playing on-line games to get a virus checker and firewall up and running.

Here's a nice, simple guide to on-line security.

Not sure whether that's your problem, though. Have you tried to do a "Full Scan" of files from the PS launcher? If something's corrupt with PS then that might fix it.

Think I found the problem. Motherfucking fan on my GF4 had stopped working. Now I gotta use my old GF2 MX until I can get it replaced.

To avoid ****** spammers and other general pimpsters you need a bit of a postcount before you can post URL's. This has only been recently implemented, and seems to have done the trick so far.
