hmm he needs to learn when to be greatful and not ask for more.. i mean.. See Hidden for BMs !? Probably the only decent point he has is about Hurricaine (and actually Sidewinder). But when you make a report filled with padding Mythic aren't likely to filter out the important stuff :(

He should ask for much more dmg, SH... dunno....

Ask as wot albs did, look now wot they got, like mincers when they said they sux and asked for all, and end up with tooons of goodies o_O

Ghetto 4s stun removed from ice storm and replaced by 9s on 2nd/3rd part of chain.

Access to Avoid Pain

Except minstrels got like 5% of what they asked for and a bunch of random crap mythic came up with. :p

i think his point was that bm's don't offer anything different to a LW/CS hero - ie. they're both offensive tanks
and he asked for detect hidden, not see hidden.. the former being the ability that all assassins get in their stealth specline (thanks danya :p ), the latter being the most class breaking RA ever to hit DAoC imo

Detect Hidden isn't baseline or available to all stealthers. It's an assassin only ability in the stealth specline.

with the new TW recharge time and flurry i'd imagine a bm will do more damage than a hero now. that's unique :) oh yea and they are invulnerable to slash damage. (kinda :p)

actually assassin also get climb walls+safe fall and the sort of uselss Danger Sense :)

Assassins and minstrels get safe fall 1-5, danger sense, distraction and climb walls in stealth specline.
Assassins only get detect hidden.
Archers get no stealth skills.

assassins get multiple things so detect hidden is not their ownly ability in stealth. It IS their ownly ability thats special for assassins in stealth. It was just a difference in words.


Btw the see hidden demand has been removed unless i cant read:p

Everyone needs some sort of anti-stealth ability with the way they screwed up/overpowered stealth in this game :b

How do you give everyone sopme anti-stealth without making assassins useless? The whole point of the critical strike specline is to get to melee range undetected, if they weakened stealth that would need reworking.

Well it would only make it harder to play an asassin where as now they play the game on easy/god mode

To my mind assassins need to have more emphasis put on their sneaking and critical striking as a way of making them harder to play, not weaken crit strikes and stealth and make them rely even more on being light tanks. The whole reason shadowzerks are popular is because the gains of CS are too low compared to just beefing up on axe/LA. If assassins had their not-critical melee reduced a bit but their crit strikes boosted they'd probably be a lot more balanced.
