BM, Ranger or NS ?

I have a hard time deciding what char I wanna take to 50

Ranger/NS are more appropriate if you want to solo RvR but I have doubts whether it's harder to solo nowadays or not. Are stealthers as much fun in groups as BM (probably) is =)? What are the bad/good sides of the classes?

Can almost guess stealthers are most fun in BG. But what is most fun to play at 50?

a ranger/ns compared to bm is quite different in bg and at lvl50 id say.

You cant compare a NS from bg1 and lvl 50 rvr, as you already in bg1 get PA and it will do about same dmg on enemies that lvl 50 pa does on other lvl 50s. but as chars in bg1 have much lower hp you can almost 1hit kill a tank. (what i noticed)

in terms of realitive strength i would say the BM>NS>ranger

NS's solo really well at rr6+

Rangers solo pretty well at rr6 + to.

Upto then its a bit of a struggle.

NS doesnt perform well in grps.
Ranger can perform well in grps if you spec for it.

Personaly unless you hell bent on soloing roll a BM they are a good class that wont get nerfed.

NS still has to be a more capable Solo class than ranger. Simply cuz 99% of soloers are stealthers. 70% of stealthers are assasins. Assasins still find and pwn rangers.

soloing nowwa days takes more or less 2 accounts, 1 main char and 1 buff bot.

and sure, NS might be as fun as a BM to play in a group, but you will be get groups 10 times as easy as a BM then a NS.

Ive played all 3 at 50 extensivley.

Put it this way, im going back to rolling bm again, but if I wated a soloer atm id go ranger, there uber fun and work both in groups and solo (buffed ofc).

Why not roll both

As someone else said, its hard to get groups nowdays unless you get guild groups, and most random groups suck(apparently). So it might be worth making a solo char like a NS or ranger.

Personally, when I was playing in hib I had some great random groups although most of them were very late or very early in the day, which also means u dont normally get zerged

NS/Ranger groups are fun too though. NSs and rangers are bloody hard to lvl though
