is it ne good?
when is it out?

Its around £15 I think but its not got good reviews one of the main flaws being the 5 hours it takes to complete it.

never usually time myself completing games (except for final fantasy as it provided a nifty little timer) but I'm sure it took less than 5 hours to clear opposing forces.

If you think oposing force was easy then wait till you play this, I complteted it in even less time than OF

I did HL and OF in 1 day.

I now have a life so BS would prolly take me the best part of a week.

that's just sad.
I played on my comp for a whole day once, but only because I was stuck in the middle of nowhere and it was during the school holidays and I was a wee lad. It was red alert command and conqueor. I remember that when I was done and the computer was switched off, I could still see the tanks when I closed my eyes, and everyone sounded like the in game voice. I was freakin out.

Bah I played Dungeon keeper 2 for a while the first day I got it I started in the afternoon, it got late my g/f went to bed I carried on playing, some of the TV channels closed for the night I carried on, then I heard birds tweeting outside and looked out the window and the sun was coming up so I wen't to bed

Didn't even get that far with blue shift before it was finished, the high poly models look good tho

I remember playing Pacman for a whole day, i couldn't stop eating large spherical objects and my mouth kept opening and closing

as so many ppl have completed blue shift, maybe you could stop me from goin outta my mind.

i'm stuck in the bit where u clear out all the grunts in the freight yard / warehouse. there is a scientist stuck in a container and i think i have to get to him or sumthin but i've been running around for ages and can't see anythin obvious that i need to do.

any1 got any idea's??

another brain teaser from much further on -

after you've lowered the coolant, moved the barrels, jumped across and got the power back on, where the heck do you find an energy cell??

Go all the way back and remember that cut scene where a scientist + security guard was being attacked by an alien? You'll now have access to that area where you can get the cell

About 3 hours

I got the game, played it and it took 3 hours for me to complete, its got the same L..........O..........N..........G start as Half-life , But does come with a nice addon for ya weapons (High Res Pack), but i dont think it is worth it.

Does the high red pack do anything for the models etc in CS or is it Half Life only?

Its just for half'life, op n Blueshift, but atm am trying to get sub machine gun n the knife into cs cos they rock

it upgrades all weapons and charectors in HL, OP4, BS and all mods utilising the HL weapons / aliens (such as the amazing Sven Coop).

Personally, I would only recommend BS if (like me) you are a huge HL fan

oh and if you wanna get the weapons into CS ure gonna have to use PakExplorer to open up the Pak1.pak in your HL diretory and copy w_mp5.mdl to your cs dir (and rename accordingly). Then get w_knife.mdl from Pak0.pak in ure Op4 directory and copy to cs. Get pakexplorer from www.planethalflife.com/wavelength

It is enjoyable while it lasts, but it's extremely short. I just completed it, took 3 hours. Not much of a challenge. Still, I also bought Startopia which is AMAZING, so i'm happy
