Blue AF buff => usefull with epic??

As a buffer i have to know this.

When someone is wearing is epic armour (scale, reinforced) their AF should be 635 (when fully repaired). When i cast the blue AF buff on them, the AF still remains 635.

So, I didnt bother to use this buff anymore on epic wearing peeps.

However yesterday i heared this was just a display bug and it actually still makes a difference.

Can someone confirm this pls?

This correct. The blue AF buff doesnt stack on top of capped AF atm. This will be adressed in 1.53 (i think)

ps. This is not only with epic. As long as your AF is capped this is the case.

According to the TLs on VNBoards, the 635 AF is a display bug (along the lines of the old weapon damage display bug) and your AF is in fact not capped.

The TL's are on 1.52 servers, so i guess the display bug will be fixed in 1.53
Will check if the AF bug is fixed in 1.52 or 1.51

Taken from 1.52 patch-notes:

All "clerical" (i.e. Healer, Shaman, Druid, Bard, Warden, Friar, Paladin, Hunters, Rangers and Cleric) baseline armor factor buffs are now assessed "outside the cap". In situations where you were at your armor factor cap, and had one of these buffs on you, you would have gotten no additional armor factor, but now with this change, you will. There is currently a display problem where this additional armor factor is not being displayed, but it is being assessed.

As I understand it right now af-buffs do nothing for someone in a full gear of epic armor ( completely repaired of course).
