Bloody Barrybar

Anybody know dir to load CS that this fecking program will understand. Tried C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe -console -game cstrike/ which is the shortcut dir on my desktop. No it can't find game. Tried C:\SIERRA\Half-Life\hl.exe that loads up HL then switches to CS but no config.cfg not even after I try to exec them ????? got me well pissed.. a tell ya

I had the same problems. Just ignore barrybar, use barrylogon (or just go onto bw website then close).

Then use your normal method of joining the server.

I've logged onto BW then I've tried just starting cs through desktop shortcut, I have all barrysworld servers listed as favs connected through that and got kicked reason secure server..

Barrybar and barlogon don't work for me at all. Still with win 98. can't help it. If it ain't broke why fix it. LOL.

What firewall are you running?

no firewall running xp think that as 1 the problem is BW servers will only let you join if you've subscribed or you get kicked. Thats why i want Barrybar working you can run ASE and have Barrylogon running in background but you have to pay for that and I'm not doing that as well. Barrybar works ok BUT it just don't loadup CS ???

Holly i saw you come on a server last night then get kicked !
I use barrylogin and my regular ase, and have had no problems at all. You do have to remember to find IP/ login eveytime you connect to the internet though.

Hang on a minute. You dont have to pay for barrylogin, only the 12/24 subscription fee. Theres no extra charge for either, unless you was hoping not to pay at all ???

I meen I'm not paying for ASE to connect to server all the problem is Barrybar will not start CS direct result NO config file loaded, which meens I can't buy ammo. Why doesn't it see the dir for the shortcut?

Got me stumped anyway

It is indeed. HLSW works nicely. You wouldn't have a .sl14 file for Barrysworld you could send me, would you?
