me too, thing is, when i tried it, you can tell when your hitting or not which is good, but you can also see that your hitting with a lot of bullets only to find you barely did any damage.
For example, i hammered one guy with the MG42 ontop of the german apc and blood poured from him, i must of hit him with well over 30 rounds and he survived only to get shot by someone else.

yeah ive noticed that with the tank mounted guns, you see enough blood to fill an olympic swimming pool, but they just stand there looking back at you 
I guess its possible that blood doesnt always equate to any real damage?

it shows you are actually hitting, i guess the bullets dont do enough damage, or more than one blood splash is generated per hit.

Blood is only a client side result.

I agree there and seeing the server the one that has to do the maths, hit or miss your client is saying somat diffrent.
btw be aware of using none packed files some of these addons send you cd key off to the makers wonder why.
