This is the reward for lvl 40 epic quest for vikings. Ppl keep saying that it procs at lvl 42. So my question is does it come with a proc that activates at lvl 42, or will it be unprocced if i do the quest at 40-41, in which case you should always wait til 42.

epic 40 weapons in midgard will not proc until lvl 42 which is kinda daft tbh seeing as alb and hib afaik get weapons at lvl 40 which proc at 40.

Ok so it's safe to get it at 40, and it will proc automatically when i ding 42?

yes that's right.

Do the quest at 40, get the xp and the weapon.

It won't proc until 42, but it's still a very nice weapon to use, as it's 100%qual and has fairly good stats.

The proc will still be there even though it doesn't activate until 42.

The lovely advantage with the lvl 42 proccing weapon you get at lvl 40 for your epic is that it only goes blue at lvl 49 too
