Did you Hibs loose something inside there ? Some of your Herbs maybe ?
You guys seem to love that keep. If you can't get it with one group, you just call for the 2nd group ... then the 3rd ... the 4th ... 5th ?
Isn't it frustrating to bash those doors for nearly 1hour ?
And not even enough Defenders to get some decent RPs for everyone ?
Go and take Caer Benowyc instead ! So much less frustration

Well we don't always need a zerg to take Bled. We've taken it several times with just one group. Just last week 1FG of us took it and then another half group joined us and we held it for several hours, dispatching an attacking group (including Melgar) twice before they gave up and then we did too because it was getting late (but the keep was still in Hib hands when I logged on there next day - lazy Mids

Have also taken Bled previously with just a group of 6. Took a while though, has to be said - need to bring a good book to read while bashing on the doors.

Try to understand me, you log in, check the doors : "Hmm, level1", you start upgrading them, and as soon as you're finished some Hibs show up and break them down ... atleast until you start to repair them.
And instead of moving to another keep, they keep on bashing my precious doors (without achieving much). Then more and more arrive until you got a freaking Zerg knocking on your doors.
Get atleast a Ram next time ! ... And someone who can operate one, seen it too often that a ram was up and no one used it.

Well Hellskor, one big problem with Bledmeer is that it is in Midgard. So when we will get it, we will get nice response from Middies. Beno? 3-4 days before finaly some alb shows up So that's why Bled is so often under attack

Yep, take it as a compliment - we get much better quality RvR with you lot than the tinheads.

At least, that's the reason MIDDIES gave for always taking HIBERNIAN keeps a few months back

If it's for the response time ... take Avakr or Hlidiskalf. You won't have to wait for ages there.
Usually lower level doors, no one who's inside repairing them, and close to the most common bindpoint.
So you would get even more Mids to play with

When you're the only Crafter able to make 98-99% Two-Handed Weapons money isn't a problem.
But it's annoying to get Doors to level 5 just to see them get bashed asap (you smell it when I've finished on them, right ?)

... and you don't always get in. Only when I stop repairing usually

Most Mids just don't want to walk that far to get a Luri Kebab.

Last time we hit Bledmeer the doors were of relic quality.

I will hit them every single day, ram or not, if they are that high.

Complete waste of money imho, thx for letting us know.

Keeps you out longer, resulting in atleast a chance that some people come in time to wipe the floor with you.
And yes, keep doors will fall at some point ... but 2min after I finished on them is plain ridicilous !
Guess what I'll be doing from now on is :
Door1 - level1, Door2 - level 3 ... high enough to not fall apart at once, and low enough to keep repairing it for an eternity.
It's maybe 20G per 30min or something. peanuts.

P.S. I never go above lvl5 doors on outer (but that's more 'cause I can't carry all the wood needed /cry)

And that's one of the main reason I don't want you inside in the first case

Even though the last two times I had to attack Hibs in Bledmeer it was more like Mids farming the Hibs inside instead of the other way around
But have to admit is weren't that many Hibs, only 2 Caster and some others, ~8-10 overall.

I like to craft in Bledmeer on occaision, but I've put that on hold recently as I try and make level 50.

Bledmeer is a good place to craft for a number of reasons.

1. Being a merchant keep you have access to all the materials required.
2. Its in Odins gate, so keeps you close to the action (just need to keep my eyes peeled for those death messages)
3. Crafting as everyone knows can be a tad boring. I look forward to your visits Next time though we could try having a nice cup of tea instead of all this killing stuff.
4. You arn't desperatly far from Grallahorn, and therefore a spot of DF delving if the fancy takes you. (I'm a Skald so travelling isn't a big pain)
5. Ottar and his pals often hang about odins, and they've been good enough to let me group with them a few times....always good for a realm point or 2.
6. The only other place to craft is GnaFaste, which has a large amount of people spamming for weapons.

Easy access to materials, no beggars, and if someone gets up there you can be sure he wants the weapon he asks for

And buying material in Graller :

1.) Usually some Alb/Hib in Yggdra -> could take a few tries to get there
2.) purple aggro mobs
3.) max Enc : 100 ... that's not much material I could carry, and salvage isn't worth it.

dunno bout bled but in DC can stand next to merchant and still be in reach of the forge (well not the high lvl merchant just first 5 types or something)
