Woohoo! our guild claimed it's first keep tonight!

please note, this post, or the one linked is NOT a "we owned your middie npc keep, we roxxors post"

its' simply a post to say that keep taking/defence is far more enjoyable when it's YOUR keep that your defending/taking. i dont usually bother too much with keep pingponging, but i was astounded at how much of a difference it makes having your guild banner's snapping in the wind overhead, having all the guards wearing YOUR guild cloaks etc...

it's just totally different how you feel about defending a keep that your own guild owns rather than just "another hibernian keep".

so, to all the smaller guilds there that are reaching the keep taking stage of their development, please do it, you'll love it! way more fun than most rvr, and in this particular case there was some really good rvr going on around the keep because we'd decided to make the inner doors damn hard to breach took AGES for those doors to be broken

sorry, timing was just RIGHT tonight, we'd just finished our guild meeting when some of us decided to go rvr, well... THAT's when femfire (bloody bards) decided to start lute spamming for ten minuits solid so you see, we HAD to go tonight, had to shut him up

a note to any shadowblades we meet in odins in the future, if you see a bard wearing a red and white cloak, with a dragon emblem on it, in a crowd of other similar cloaks then believe me, even if we see you kill him we'll let you go free ANYTHING to stop his drum/lute/flute spamming hell

I missed it but sounded like a laugh.. I asked someone about the guild meeting and all he said was.. "we took a keep.." lol

Well it's a start.. of good things.
