Ok i tweaked a template another made on Hib section to suit what i want from my new Blademaster template ...

3 minor QQ's

1. No Golm on this template (sorry Fuaip)
2. No +Blades so its just 50+RR (Using Cd styles ... wyrd spec etc)
3. Only 9% Style Damage .

No comments about golm this time :D
Supernova or whatever the third style in side chain is called, is based on blades.. no+blades doesnt raise that damage much then :)
9% style damage is nice..

Execpt that - nice temp

I've seen ure template already meight ... i just want my firbolg to have 3 things ...

1. Capped Dps relative to his realm rank (246 qui buffed + red haste + 10% melee speed and 406 Str (no augs) 10 melee damage 9 style damage ...
2. High survivabilty in group rvr situations with all resists 26%+10% from cl resists + 350+hp on template ... and therefore very hard to kill
3. Lowest possible weakness against CC 26%+10%Energy(Mezz) 26%+10%Matter(Root) for less downtime from cc + det5 and charge 2 or so ...

My template does all these things as good as your template it just gives better resists ... No Golm is the only fault i can see ... if i am wrong correct me :D

1: gov (unless you leave it at lvl8 and /noexp :) )
2: no golm
3: con doesnt equal much hp, but lower con
4: no +weapon (supernova is based on weapon, not cd)

im not saying its bad, but since damage just isnt heat or energy or matter i dont see the point for a capped res template at the expense of all that

Not if you are soloing.

Still its a very good template, i like both of them. Yours will have 70-90 hitpoints more than punishments i guess. But then I would rather run with punishments for solo play.

your right about gov for group play but once again it is much better for soloing :)

U are 100% entitled to yoor opinion and i know u have a very nice Blademaster to back up what u say ... but i think im gonna run with this for now :D

That won't do it though. With /xpoff arti's will still get xp, even if your char won't
Even with the xp values needed in the previous patch, gov would lvl from 8-10 in about 500 k. So you won't benefit from the non dot proccing gov for very long.

Why post a template if you just counter everything people say?

I could understand if u was showing how amazing it is - but it isn't an amazing template.

P.S - why SoM on a grp bm?

FW or 7.10 cloak > SoM for a grp bm well thats what i would use. SoM lacks utility and even with use2 u die the same.

I purely use SoM for the 5% melee speed tbh ...

P.S. Capped resists ( melee resists capped racially ) 10/9/10 melee bonus 352 hp 101 str 91 qui ... explain to me how this template could be better ???

no +skill is a mistake imo, con could be higher too. its a nice temp but u sacrifice too much to cap some resists you'll rarely, if ever, get hit hard by.

With Cl5 This should give 1950+(2650+)hp or so and with 36%+ magical resists and 30%+ melee resists with cl buffs up i think this is enough :D

Time will tell if i fucked up template damage-wise ... but atleast i'll have a solid pve template at the very least :eek:

I tried the whole capped resist thing and high hp on my hero before :p and tbh you really don't notice the diff in fg vs fg... you get nuked down all the same.. debuffs > ANY resists... as for solo its all fun and games until a random sm mocs and wipes the floor with you or a sorc with di bot stuck to him does the same :p etc i could go on and on let you find out for yourself how much it doesnt help tho :p full offence > defence

Well 26%+10% cl buff to all resists and AoM 2 which i will run with will make me harder to bring down ;)

Also according to Wyrd spec my Damage will be capped ... 10/9/10 melee bonus 246 qui buffed + red haste +406 Str w/o any aug str ... so i fail to see what i can gain from gimping my resists ....

3rd in cd side chain dmg is affected by weapon spec. and, depending what dmg type u are, u prolly find a better dmg rear style than the cd rear snare, the blunt one owns for instance.

Nah im Blades ... was going to respec Blunt ... but unfortunately the Malice/Battler Designs for Blunt/Crush/Hammer are being changed and they will look teh ghey :(

However I think that you can safely drop a bit some resistance (like matter) to get + blade

On my original there was +11 blade and +70 dex too in trade for CB and some res. I know that 99% of people don't want +dex on non-pierce BM, but I disagree on this, for 2 reason:
1- when I'm rooted I start spamming disease spell to interrupt and force healers to waste time by removing it, and for it +dex it is very usefull
2- in any case + dex grants you better chance to parry and evade, and that can save some HP during fight (mind that even a single hit of gimp BG bot do something like 50-100 damage and it's a pain to get it with overcap HP)

Well i did use your template as a starting point and i think i made the best of it that i could ... but example number 1 u give is ...if u are rooted ... u will be rooted alot less with capped matter 26%+10% with AoM 2 and Det 4 ... which is what i will run with :D

champ spells are fixed cast times, dex does fuck all

cant parry or evade spells

rr5 ability negates tanks when needed

Yes but you can't attack with it, so use it only in case of a train assist

missing +11 blades (from "items", this is key) equals a loss of about 5% base damage, also supernova will lose some style damage...

screw the unneeded resists.

and i dont hope you will ever try to solo melee classes with that temp, any decent one will destoy you with 3 parry and that low dex.

other than the missing 11 blades its solid.

skill from items does the same as skill from RR and Spec, but it has a hidden damage bonus aswell (just test with a no variance caster to see)

50 spec + 0 items = 39 spec + 11 Realm rank

but

39 spec + 11 items = 50 spec + 11 items > 50 spec + 0 items

if you can understand that
