Black Screen

well i recently encountered this problem

i had been playing during the day logged out went to play in the evening loaded up the patcher clicked on play then screen goes black when u shud get hte picture all i get is a slightly ligher shade of black screen then it goes dark black again

i have done a full reinstall of windows aswell and it still does it.

any ideas would be extremely useful as its really starting to annoy me

Do you still get the cursor on top of the black? If so then it's a common problem
