Ok, everything is going according to plan untill i see a picture with 'patch 1.54 loading ... '. Then after 3 seconds or so my screen becomes black and the game gives an error.

Rebooting my pc didn't help and updating info neither

I need some help here :(

What error was it?

Do you:

1). Have latest chipset drivers?

2). Have latest Directx installed?

3). Have latest graphic drivers?

4). Have the game resolution set so your monitor can handle it?

It sounds like a grapic card problem. It says the game gives you an error. Is it a standard windows error or a game one?

Tried rightnow?

Well it kinda helps people trying to help you if you gave some extra details rather than just saying 'screen goes black, can't play'.

Jeez, you try to help people...

hmm

Good it got fixed.

When it comes to patch problems, its often virus really, been since EQ :D

You try to patch, that means you exe files which alot of viruses really love, is trying to do something, and they either refuse it or does something with it =)

Not had virus and DAOC at the same time yet, so not sure how daoc reacts, but but anarchy and everquest was my only working virus warnings for several years :D

If not, it do seem like either a graph or a monitor bug...if not, i have the only bugged monitor in this world =)

But DARN bugged it is
