Black screen with radeon 9700 pro HELP

Got a ati radeon 9700 pro.
When i play daoc (only that game)
my screen goes BLACK for about 5 sec if im lucky if not, it is perm GRRR... and i have to restart, and lose my grp and all that shit

i dont know whats wrong someone plz help got the catalyse 3.8 driver.

You can try turning off (by deselecting the box) Enable VPU recovery in Radion 9700 Pro properties box
