It's getting a reputation for vapourware.
I want to see how they update the old HL maps, but they've been at it so long that people are starting to forget about it.

Nothing compared to the moronity of avatar collectors edition, which has 6 discs!

Ofcourse if you miss that it's 3xDVD and 3xBlubla discs, you might be disappointed

Slightly rubbish analogy.. everywhere I've seen the Collector's Edition it is advertised as "3 disc". I'm pretty new to the Blu-ray game but doesn't pretty much every one (movies that is, not TV or boxsets etc) come with a DVD in the box with a standard def copy of the film as well?

I'm looking and I can't even see any evidence that the Blu-ray set comes with DVD's - there is a separate DVD release of the Collector's Edition. I could of course be wrong, I haven't actually opened up the set myself.

Getting back to BM, been looking forward to it since time began, but as with very ambitious mods, they go on and on. Promising the world, giving us teaser screens and trailers but never releasing anything. They said that something from it was going to be released during 2010 as a promise but nothing ever happened. Lost hope now.

There's been an organised troll campaign touting release of the mod to select community members followed by public release on the 4th January. Few websites have fallen for that and published the 4th as official release date.
Always been looking forward to this mod but quite happy to wait bearing in mind it's just a 3rd party mod.

Bought all the old half life for £4 might aswell just play that for now!
