Just read the Black Magician trilogy and thought it was amazing!

Yeah thats it Magicians Guild, The Novice and The High Lord.

I loved loads of things about the book, but one thing in particular was the fact she (writer Trudi Canavan) put an epilogue at the end of each book. It sounds like nothing but with how the ending ends, it was nice to see a glimpse of the future.

and what with all the suffering she went through, it was nice to know she had something good to look forward to...

Loved all three of those books... You should read the White Priestess trilogy now although I am patiently waiting for book 3 to come out at the minute... finished reading book 2 about 6 months ago!

Yeah Age of The Five iirc?

The 3rd book (voice of the gods or something) came out yesterday, its on www.amazon.com but not play.com or amazon.co.uk

Am going to look in some book shops in town to find them

Magicians Guild came first and my only reason for not getting book 3 of the Age of 5 yet (this sounds so sad) is that I have the other two in hardback and I don't want book 3 in paperback as it will look horrible sitting on the shelf beside the other two! Unfortunately that means I will have to wait til about June to get the hardback!

get Black Magician first imo. Its about 500 pages first book, other 2 are 650 so its not a monster read.

nah thats her 2nd trilogy which (unless im mistaken) has nothing to do with Black Magician.

Black Magician consists of The Magicians Guild, The Novice, The High Lord.
