After a two week delay on the Ladder, BloodLust cancelled their match with us (EM) right on the dot of match time. Supposedly they only had 3 players turn up. That really suX0r.

They were the ones who challenged us in the first place and then coarwdly disappearing into the night at the 11th hour (ok, 9pm, but that's not the point )

On behalf of EM, I am to say that we want relaible opposition and that BL are cowards.

Yeh, are there ANY Tribes out there that ain't gonna default on us?

EED did, as did DaK....then BL? And BR have given up too? That means more defaults in the UKCup.

They made us wait 2 weeks for shit like that? Only 3 people turning up is Bollocks, just a piss take.

I reckon Sargon should throw em out the league, or drop em 10-20 places until they can field a team of 14.

I just wanted to add that I am bloody annoyed at this as well. Fair enough that Toe showed up to let us know in IRC, but the problem isn't one of defaulting... it's the implications.

[BL] challenged [EM] on The Ladder. AFter a couple of delays totalling 2 weeks, the game was scheduled for tonight (Thursday). [EM] have 16 (14+2 subs) and [BL] have... 3. They default.

I mean WTF? They had *2 WEEKS* to get it together!

I'm also pissed off because this is only one in a chain of defaults we've suffered. There have been teams dropping from the FunCup and the UK Cup (decent prizes for that one).

I cant speak on behalf of BL, but BR withdrew because they did not have enough players.

Further to that we have not defaulted against anyone, sadly we could only give Suds one days notice prior to the UKcup, and we played our game against eLD in the BW funcup as a friendly, and gave eLD the win prior to the match starting.

It is something i fear will continue to happen over the next few months are some of the newer tribes, having given T2 a go, put up with the bigs and patches, have decided its not for them. I also think, as was the case with BR, that some of the "established tribes" do not have the same enthusiasm as there was with T1 and fewer player will want to play.

The same problem has occured in the funcup and will affect all the other leagues/ladders/cups that are runnig

Im not supporting nor condoning either side of this particular flame, just think that it should be pointed out that this probably will be a feature of T2 for the immediate future.

It would be a good idea for BL to revue their place in the in the top half of the ladder..

LOL at this thread - cry me a river, this is a bit disappointing of you lot.

Have you posted on the Ladder site? I cannot understand why ou posted this here unless you want to stir, and you three aren't like that, you are all very decent guys.

As you probably know BL are mostly older players and have kids and families, perhaps they just are plain bored of T2 and are giving their real lives some priority?

Yeah its a pain to practice for a game and then someone defaults or something - at least Toekiller turned up and had the decency to tell you. Lots of teams (especially in larger games like CS etc) dont even show and you dont know who they were in the first place. You got the points for the win and make your next challenge - shit happens, clans fluctuate and blossom and die in a short space of time.

On a more general note, Ferg was bang on when he said about newer clans being tired of all the patches and bugs etc - and yeah older "established" tribes are finding people are not so enthusiastic about the game. I'm inactive in HH atm and have to say I am enjoying the break - no disrespect to HH llamas, who are top blokes When I come back we can play EM again (I really enjoyed our ladder game btw) and show you how crap I am at T2 once more.

Saying BL=Cowards is just pure troll behaviour and its probably BL=in the pub, quite right too.

Overall, I guess BL couldnt give a f**k if they are thrown out of the ladder but I'll leave it for them to respond. Also good luck to KMA - nice attitude you lot have and seem to be doing well. EM v KMA will be a good game, just wish i could see a demo...damn dynamix

Finally - dont you all think its a bit sad that teams are winding down already when T2 is only a few months old? Pisses me off no end. Ah crap I am meant to be resting, please dont post mildly interesting stuff that makes me read these forums!

Xtro - yes we are angry, and yes it's a semi-pointless flame started on a night when everyone was very pissed off.

And yes, it's sad to see clans fall apart so early - I thought the end of T1 trend had finished

EM. Point taken. I had no control over events that transpired. I apologised to Sudsy and yourselves.

As to the future of BL. That is very much in the balance. We have lost many key members from BL due to the events surrounding this disaster.

Unless I can find new members wave goodbye to BL as a T2 Clan.
