Hiya. Me and my mate are genuinely interested in starting a football team. Does anyone know here I can find a complete list of EVERY league in england? Sunday leagues etc. We've saved up quite a bit of money (around 3 grand) and we've got players between 16-20 years old (around 20 of us) who are decent players. How would we go about entering a league?

If you think we're idiots or something, just don't bother posting. :p

Sounds like a great idea.

I'd go to your local football club and ask about it to be honest.

The Rothmans Football Yearbook is published every year and it's pretty comprehensive. I believe it's what most commentators use.

I know it sounds like a stock answer but have you contacted the FA. I'm sure they'll have information about registering a team into a league.

Another option may be to contact your local council, they probably own the pitches where the league matches are played and would therefore have a contact number for the league officials. There is always the pub option too, if you know of a local pub league, they may even be up for a bit of sponsorship, and bung you the half time oranges ;).
Just a couple of suggestions to give you more options if the previous ones don't work out :D
