What is the best program to quickly and easily (for a tech thicko like me) extract a bin image file to a file on my HD?

In this case it will be a svcd video file.

I think clonecd4 allows you to mount bin/cues as drives. So you can just drag and drop to another drive, or run it from that location.

I thought he wanted to extract what was in the bin (the VCD file) and dump it as a file on the hd (.mpg maybe?)

Tom, load the ISO and then right click the 'CD' and extract as movie or whatever :)

I use VCDgear...its tailor made for that purpose. Then I do the mpeg2 to mpeg1 header trick and burn to fool my DVD player into playing svcds (which it wont normally :D )

Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120% are the best for working with images from your harddrive. If it's an SVCD once you've found the .dat file just rename the extension to mpeg and you're ready to rock and roll.
