Whats the most damage anyone has hit for in BG1? , on my BG1 NS ( Synthia) i perfed a gimp mincer last night for 413+181 crit, thats my best i think

my Inf hit his PA cap of 401 +120critical against a Buffed Shadowblade

though thats generally on poorly equipped, and unbuffed people

usually PA for about 380ish on most people

Not hard to believe someone Crit shotting someone in /level gear got 370(My scouts Critical cap is much higher with 24+5 bow with a MP very slow bow) +130 critical?

But it isnt a very slow bow, dont know the spd, but its a red con 99% crafted bow. Buffed crits is 4sec and normal is 3 and unbuffed crit is 5 and normal is 3.

I've shot a blue con scout for 445, at the time i only had a dex baseline and my self buff, so dex was only about 200.

Can't get critical hits on a crit shot.

As for damage, loads of crit shots for about 464 with my scout ages ago; that was with 24+5 bow using a 99% 5.4 speed bow so I highly doubt that anyone shot anyone for 500 damage.

Cant recall exactly but hit unshielded and unbuffed BD for 200 a pop with Armsman, it could have been more i just dont want to be wrong about it, basically he tapped once after i hit for 80% of his hp and then on the second swing he died. Been a while since i played, may end up testing today actually if i have the time to give a more precise number.

Mourning rage on a CB = best 1-shot dmg...one of my old bg SBs had dmg cap of 515 with it..and u hit that on almost all blue con casters tbh...so 700+ is sorta easy did it a few times and no, i dont have any SS's..cud remake my CB and take some tho

Damn i bored but apart from that.

Nasty hit there for sure Bite but don't you feel some remorse? Obviously the poor inf was unbuffed with poor gear on - not much of a challenge. Tis why infact i never liked killing casters cos i ended up feeling sorry for them. The REAL challenge is against buffed/sc'd infs and buffed/sc'd armsmen, pallies and friars. Though if you are the same level 50 Bite you should be able to take them out as well i should think no-prob.

spec is 21 crit, 19stealth, 16 wep, 12 env and 2 la if i remember correct.

so far i only died 1on1 to a merc i was stupid enough to jump, Darthfay or summit....but who cares...

Bite person you mentioned is a reave and my god is he fricken HARD, dueld him twice i think and lost both times, the guy is buffed and SCed out of his brain, hes hitting me with his whip for what im hitting him with 2hander (ok yes im gimped unbuffed crap damage) but the guy is tough. Not to mention his lifetap thingy.

Took about 3 peeps on him other day to bring him down.
