big update problem

OK for some reason i DL the american patch a lot of times. I LD, then when i try to log back on it DLs the patch and i cant log on cause my accounts not from the states.

Ok so what can i do to reverse this? I used to just install the game but i lost my SI CD.

I have SI on my other comp and I just transfered alll the files over which look AGES, then after an hour or two, it happens again.

Whats up with this? Is there a way I can stop it or am I just supposed to deal with this time off the game? TBH i'm getting rather fed up with it

My friend had this problem a few times aswell.

He followed the instructions from RightNow, seems to work.

Keep a copy of your update.dat file. If it starts downloading stop it or stop the internet connection, replace the one updated to patch from US servers and then it should work.

Also, when you go LD, don't restart DAoC right away. If you wait a while you have a much smaller chance of patching to the US servers
