I guess many here won't know much about the Bhopal Disaster from 'first-time-around' - it happened when I was 11, so I put myself in this category. However, with the upcoming anniversary, I started reading about it and the true horror of the events is starting to hit home...
On Friday, it's 20 years since the release of a cloud of methyl isocyanate from the Union Carbide plant in Bhopal, India killing over 3000 people. Some estimates put the death toll as high as 10000, with another 50000 suffering permanent disability.
