BG1 Battle bard or offensive druid

Copied this from BG discussion hope u dont mind me reposting but im in kind of a hurry to get it started so here goes hope u can help

To pass some time till pvp me and my partner are gonna try hib out and roll some bg and pve <24 fun only characters. hes chosen a hero so im gonna go with a naturalist class. Having pld a warden high lvl they dont really shine till later levels in RvR so im going either with a battle bard or an offensive druid as we will be playing together most of time. Not really my strong suit so i was hoping someone can give me the sp on how these perform in bg and some posible specs.

if you consider Reinforced Armour a battle spec

Bards do not kick butt...we mezz it

There are characters out there that are not fun-only? Seems like a waste of playing time then

do not create a battle bard..or do if you want to find out why not to.

go warden, if you dont like that, go for a druid, at least you get instas, decent buffs and a pet!!! what more do you need?

At Sub lvl 24 a druids insta(s) are gonna be worth squat.

Go Battle Bard m8 I hear from some ppl that they are v.fun to play

Celt Bard:- 10Str 15Con

14 Nurt - Spd2 End2 Pow1
9 Reg - Ok (for lvl of Hp) Heals + Cure poison/dis (nxt patch)
18 Music - 5th DD Shout 2nd AE Mezz
15 Blades - Follow On From Glowing Blade + Get a nice sword to bump that to ~20 with items


Final Spec if U wanna go to 50

33 Nurt - Spd4 End4 Pow3
17 Reg - 1st group heal
37 Music - AE Insta Mezz + 7th DD Shout 2nd Best AE Mezz
39 Blades - Good Dmg + With Items RR`s can be made 50

Forrest stop tricking the guy to doing something t00pid Even if we had 4x specc points it wouldnt be viable for a bard to go melee. Naturalist dmg s00ks so bad Its tragic

If naturalist damage sucks so bad, the guy wouldnt be making BattleDruid, BattleBard, or BattleWarden, they would all suck

Seems to me there's info coming out more and more that naturalists can hit just as hard as other classes, I for one havent really noticed a difference with my wardens damage and my standard unbuffed tanks at lvl 18

Weird thing is my heal specced druid can out hit a BM... Although the bm was lvl 42 & my druid 50 I could still out taunt them

Druid's melee dmg depends.. at Lvl 44 I have a 8dps delf dmg buff and using a yellow con wep (about 14-15dps)

I can do about 55+ dmg + 30-40 dmg off the dmg buff not counting crit hits or procs

at lvl 46 u get a 10dps self dmg buff

But i;m not a fighter i wuv Everyone (cept cept middies & albs )
