Bg ~Door change Please!

l dunno how to contact any gm~kemor so sorry to do it like this

Please can you change the door uogrades from the first battle zone?
They now can be upgraded to lvl 4 an no way any lvl 20/24 is realy gonna get a scare in that door...
So lf you please can change that then the fun can start again...

Sure, anyone can make rams, but generally a ram costs around 100g (if I'm not mistaken) to make... Thats 'doable' you say if a group of 8 chips together...

But you might forget (dunno about the Bg keep) that generally a keep has 2 doors, so you'd need 2 rams...

Still doable if you have a high level main to sponsor you, but as starting level 24's... It's a bit too high...

But I'll see if I can put some rams up there when I get back home (friday evening)...

I should start a bit of 'ram training' anyhow

(on another note, who owns the keep atm ? havent played for a week)

10g max

you need 2 swing harnasses, 1 ram beak, 1 cladding (this totals for 5 to 7g max)
and 300 elm boards (12s per 20)

takes a bit of time, but you'll take that door down with it easily

Damn, dunno, could it be that catapults where 100g?

Could be ironwood instead of elm wood rams?

Should be ironwood instead of Elm if you wanna have a Siege ram and not a Battering ram.

And yeah its around 10g in all.
Cant remember the Iron wood price might be a bit more expencive then but gets the job done faster.. on lvl 1-4 doors Siege rams do 750 damage pr hit.
Elm wood don't know if it even can damage it gives max 250 to a lvl 2 door.

The ram parts cost 6g 39s 20c if you make them yourself (need various high level crafters for this) or 9g 58s 80c if you buy them from merchants.

Then you need 300 boards of either elm, oak or ironwood respectively to make the different quality rams (this was just lowered in the last patch, it used to be 600 boards).

300 elm - 1g 80s
300 oak - 7g 20s
300 ironwood - 21g 60s

So the cheapest crafted elm ram is around 8g and the most expensive merchant ram is around 31g. Peanuts if you can find a high level to sponsor your raid, and not that much even if you just ask everyone in your keep-taking expedition to pitch in a couple of gold. If you can't get that organized, you're probably not going to be able to take the keep anyways.

Setup one from the inside (if they try to raid the keep) and BOOM !

There's plenty of people running arround in all 3 BG's with 30g dye on so can't see that this is really a problem.

Of course using rams is doable , we did it with 2 rams and ive also seen mid turn up with a ram , just not enough people to use it and attack so we ran out and smashed it up.
The dorrs are fine as they are its not meant to be easy justvtakes a little organisation.

Ahh so that was u ghengis. Well after screaming about a million times take the damn healer out or we wont get anywere , had to switch to my scout and do it myself only to find you had another one 8( Was fun though. Need about another 100 rp on both before i cap. Might meet again in the next BG 8)
