Beware of the cat/dog/whatever!

Myself and Damini can sleep peacefully in our house at night with the knowledge we are being guarded by this vicious animal.

They're dried plants in a natural environment.

You've been ripped off, your cat has no legs! Take it back and get a new one.

A guard cat is useful, but you'd sleep even more soundly if you closed the front door.

I really want to get a cat after Christmas, as it's getting a little empty in the house since I kicked the missus out.

So, where to get one from. Would you suggest just going to a pound (Or is that just for dogs) or buying from a breeder?

Oh, as well as giving me company, having a cat will open up my life for telling lots of jokes about having in house pu .... Sorry, went to far :(

Ditto, basically.

Either get a cat from a rescue or "pre-rescue" one from a litter from someone you know.

When our cat had kittens last year we quickly found out that they are in huge demand, and pet shops will happily rip you off, so I'd advise a cat rescue too.

Oh and btw - get two of them :)

If you get kittens definately get two (same litter) - the difference in behavoir as they grow up is incredible.

The most cats I have had at anyone time is 7 - at the moment I have 3. All which look a little like:

Right, well I shall see if I can find a rescue center in or near Luton. First I've got to sweet talk my landlord into relaxing the no pets policy. Either that or I just hide the cat under my jumper if he ever comes round ;)
