Hey don't bring the guild into it. We've always said that if he ever did anything like that whilst he was IN Chaos Theory - he'd be out in a shot. It's not something we condone nor is something we encourage - but we wont make judgement on someone unless it directly affects us - and yes we've talked with him about it.

Yeah mistakes and mistypes happen, when one is busy soloing the encounter... it's not a big problem really, as we can and will get GoV for our guildy another day. Still, Paul felt the community should know and be warned...

He didn't actually do anything against the COC I guess...although you could try Rightnowing it, was just pointing out the clear mistake you made.

use these 4 macro's....its what i do and place them on a qb

/macro bginv /bginvite %t (have someone targeted)
/macro bgloot /bg lootlevel 0
/macro bgtres /bg loot treasurer
/macro bgboss /bg treasurer %t (or your own name)

then u can simply pres 1..2...3...4 to setup your bg / loot levels and treasurer all in one fell swoop

LoL. As easy as 1, 2, 3, 4.... that's how I wish things were, but they never are.

One could as easily setup /macro artisteal /bg leave before he loots, if he wanted to get by treasurer. Which is just the most obvious way to bypass your safety measueres. Hell, there is bugs that can get chars inside a group without the group leader inviting... But thx for the advice on the macros.

Rare artis will just bring out the worst in people. This is not the first time someone went surprise "linkdead" with an arti in backpack and it wont be the last. Setting /bg can help avoid discussions, but don't feel too safe with /bg in place... it will fail you, if someone is out to cheat.

In the end it is up to the ones killing the mob, who they trust and who they dont. Being unguilded or being in guild with known artistealers, will surely not help in that matter.
