Hey fellas

I got a whole bunch of old cartoons and movies on betamax tapes, but I'd much rather have em on dvds since my Betamax video broke down :(

Any machine able to do this which I can buy or do I have to pay the £25 a tape for some shop to do it?

we did it with a bit of hardware to interface between vhs and pc on to dvd's but you woiuld need a working betamax player to do that :p

When I was at school, going back a bit, they had betamax... they used it so that nobody could bring in their own videos and play them at school :)

on topic though, you could hook up a working betamax player to a dvd recorder I guess, but other than that, nothing specific that I know of.
