Best Thid Stealthers?

Who are your most favourite/feared thidranki stealthers?

Mine would be without a doubt the following:

Infil: Chani - One of only two people so far to beat me in a solo 1v1 fight, had 2 fights with her since then though and won both. Sadly she is fully buffed and utilises pots but still good infil.

NS: Brendey - Had two solo fights with this Elf and he beat me both times, pretty tough cookie. He jumped me on both occasions though and in the last fight I got him to 15% anyway so perhaps on a different day things may have gone the opposite way.

SB: I'm a Mid so don't really know

Scout: Not really met one that made me remember their name yet as most are just firing arrows into me from a far.

Ranger: I had one for this category but alas I forgot her name but she was dual wielding two animated weapons if that helps. She managed to crit shot me on mid bridge once and so by the time I got to her it was a close fight.

Hunter: Me , again don't know any as I am a mid

One last plee, can rogues from all realms please tell their realm mates to stop adding in zerg form on one versus one fights. I have simply lost count the amount of times I have started fighting a 10 albs/hibs run over from ten miles away and nuke/slam me to death.

For best Infil i would have to go for an old scholl infil by the name of revelations she rocked when she passed through but sadly no longer playing and as for scout that would have to be Trickshot again no longer playing but a thorn in the side of many a mid/hib

Here yu go Zedenz. Nice fight this with Chani. Tis why you should try and record all your fights. If you killed her 2x since and you were unbuffed I for one would sure as hell like to see the fights. Bet loads of others would too. Try and get that Fraps sorted!

By the way PKJ buffed would have torn her a new a******** like he did to every inf he met after day one of settling in (had to mention that not to hurt Zern's feelings)!

PS: Anyone got my first film with PKJ innit? My backup is corrupted and someone wants to see it believe it or not.

First fight I had with Chani she jumped me and killed me pretty easily whilst I got her to maybe 50%. Second two fights it was alot closer and I won, the thing is people are obviously underestimating how good a melee specced hunter is in thid, especially a fully sc'd one. With the self AF buff from speccing fairly high in BC and a blue con pet doing 30-45 damage a round it works better than a DoT.

With a buff bot it would probably become much less of a challenge as I can 2-3 shot most other stealthers in thid anyway its only when you meet a fellow twinked stealther that you get a nice fight.

As I said though Brendey hit too fast really for my slow spear, ufortunatly I saw him earlier and he had gone to orange con so I guess thats him done now in Thid.

As for FRAPS, yes I did Fraps some fights when I was level 22, but I was buffed the to compensate for the low level. Not been buffed since level 23 but not got many recorded atm. May start to utilise fraps more in the future.

chani is strong also just a shame he feels the need to run with all the other infs.......although he is the only 1 who doesnt run away if u find him solo

not sure if theres any good sbs about dont think i met any solo yet

wanted to edit last post but anyway ....whats with the running away?????
in about 75% of fights the other person doesnt even get there weps out they just run away.surely ppl would rather die fighting (or kill me ) than jus run and let me garrote them to death from the back?

people also underestimate the evade rate in thid.

it might not be as goon as it is at 50 but i had a fight vs. a buffed infi with my ns ( excal tho - me unbuffed ) and i got my side stun style in and won after that because i evaded 5 times in a row..

i'm going alb to make a melee scout after my ns caps tho,

will let you know when she hits thid thugs.. ( am not saying you will loose as i will get more brag threads this way and i like to rp aswell - not running through others all the time. )

Scout melee?

Had me a film of a duel against a melee specced scout which I have just deleted sadly. She wanted to see the kind of damage she could do. Was thrust specced though I think. But to be honest scouts go down real fast and always have against Weaklin. Only time any showed some resiliance was when he or she managed to block. Other than that they go down very fast buffed or not.

Had me a level 47 scout once and his melee was pretty good against mobs but against players was total rubbish. Oh well you can but try.

Making films?

Download Fraps (trial version seems ok). No sound or full screen mode but i think you can record for 30 secs at a time. Might be enough for some fights. Can always register it i suppose.

Fraps is dead easy to use in the game. When yu start your game with Fraps running in the background you will see the frame counter on your screen. By hitting the hotkey - default F9 - you will record for 30 secs i think on the trial version. Best to change your keyboard layout cos F9 is used to target friendly players. If you don't do this you will stop targetting your enemy and not notice (which happened to me embarassingly). Hitting F9 changes the frame counter to red whilst running. Hitting F9 again will stop the video being recorded. The very large file is stored automatically. After that you start up Windows movie maker and import the file, then edit it and resave it. It makes a very small file for you. Store it on your website and put the link on Freddys.

As for bashing me in Thid I ain't played forra little while and won't be playing much now if at all. For one thing I levelled to 25 accidently. Will show now and then I suppose until my subs run out but it looks to me like Mythic don't want you to reroll for Thid with all this xp.

well i once duelled a melee scout who was fully SCed with my Skald and i got my ass handed to me fast! Nerf using a 2h on a 24shield/evade3(?) scout that resists mezz aswell :x

I think revelation, the inf was one of aoln's alts. Not quite sure though. I beat him in a duel with my rejuv friar way back That was more fluke than anything though. His inf and my inf were very evenly matched in the bg. We must be talking pre toa here though. It's been ages since his inf was in the bg

By the way my sbs whilst unbuffed have killed loads of buffed infs and ns. You reckon you are good well show us the evidence. Every sod knows how good I am from the films I have made. Everyone should do the same to prove things one way or another.

A good player doesn't brag that he's good. He lets others judge him by how he does. Sad thing is, if you didn't make posts like these you probably would have had the recognition you desperately want.

Well innway I am having a break. Just a short time offit in level 50 to relax. I find it incredibly bad to play at 50 apart from the terrible lag. Just wasting a little time when I want to relax. Game is going from bad to worse in my eyes and I will be off totally as soon as my subs run out this time. Enough is enough.
