Best song intro?

Which is the best introduction to a song you've heard, ie. the 30 seconds - 1 minute instrumental part at the beginning of some songs. Something like say Smells like teen spirit, or come as you are, for the Nirvana-alikes

Personally I'm a little torn between Enter Sandman by Metallica, and Psycho by SoaD.

Psycho pretty much sets the tone for the sounds and sounds a little, nuts.

Enter Sandman just rocks :p

Indian Summer - aren't you angel? has easily the best intro. I've ever heard - a scratchy low-quality blues track from the 1930s with the singer softly building over the top and very quiet guitars, then the bass comes and the guitars and the song starts - beautiful :).

I haaaaate to say this, as i think most of their music sucks.....but i think the intro to Linkin Park's 'Faint' is pretty good.

It's called drum and bass... and them sampling a d&b beat really doesn't mean you like stinkin park :p

Thought that might cheer you up, anyway.

A few other possibilities for me.

Mercury Rev - The dark is rising. Love the strings in this song.
Blind Melon - I Wonder. Great acoustic/vocal intro before the song kicks in. R.I.P Shannon Hoon :(
Goldfrapp - Lovely head. Spooky whistling :)
(edit here, just listened to the old Goldfrapp album 'Felt Mountain' after writing this and got one more great intro and awesome song to add)
Goldfrapp - Utopia. Great, odd, almost operatic intro, saw it done at some festival and it's actually the singer that does it. Superly duper song aswell.

The album version of Who The Hell Are You? by Madison Avenue. Gets me all shivery inside, while at the same time building up nicely to the start of the 'real' song, pumping up the adrenaline etc.

The intro to "sweat loaf" by the Butthole Surfers is always good for a laugh, I think Orbital ripped it off for their song "satan" if my memory serves me correctly (ie, not very likely).

Fun Lovin' Criminals, Scooby Snacks or The Fun Lovin' Criminal

Blancmange, Living On The Ceiling

Carter USM, Sheriff Fatman

Pink Floyd, Momentary Lapse Of Reason

Emmerson, Lake And Palmer, Fanfare For The Common Man

Peter Gabriel, Games Without Frontiers

Depeche Mode, Now This Is Fun (intro best bit of song actually)

KLF, What Time Is Love

Visage, Fade To Grey

Sid Vicious, My Way (always good for a laugh)

The Doors, Riders On The Storm

All got brilliant intros, but I know when I next browse my music collection I'll be kicking myself thinking of this post :D

Taproot - Now
I'll also second Roo's suggestion of The Doors - Riders on the Storm.
If you treat Tool - Eon Blue Apocalypse as an intro to Tool - The Patient, then... well, that ;) And thinking about it, the initial build-up of Tool - Lateralus.
