I doubt there's one shield that's the ''best'' one for every scout out there tbh

If you block alot, I can recomend my fav, the Enchanted Runed thing that has a nice heal reactive. Goes of alot for me at least.

Well because 3 out of 4 of the other stealthers have access to CD/LA i think dropped shields are quite useless, none of them realy have great stats and the amount of times you block vs an assasin in a week you can count on 1 hand. Imho use a pc buckler, it allows more flexibility in your template and allows you to use better items elsewhere.

Only essential ToA bonus is 20-26 dex cap imo, rest is just fluffy to make it more easy mode.

Dex cap+bow speed are the main bonuses to cap.

Some people want fast shields, go pc buckler, brings down end usage on slam..

Some people want healproc, I block regularly in every fight even vs dualwielders.. the penalty isn't all it's said to be. Perhaps the 50% penalty is just because dw/la swing two(2) blades which means in theory they'll have a twice as large chance to hit with a blade? It's just speculation, there's probably more to it than that, but blocking isn't to be ignored, even vs dw/cd/la.

but if u want a Healproc shield then give me a msg in game got 4 of the enchanted runed defender with a 80 value healproc

mmm no, more like scout is the only class its possible to enjoy playing in NF... not that it matters im quitting anyway

MP crafted duskwood exceptional buckler, for the low spd to aid your blocking. If you want a drop then go for the magma infused one with heal proc, but you'll be missing those 37.5 imbue points, which you WILL need, and you can always try get your hands on a heal reactive from Sidi to imbue in that buckler anyway which renders any dropped shield useless in my opinion...
