Best sandwich/baguette filling?

I personally would have to say either prawn mayo or roast beef with horseradish. Failing that, the baguette shop I used to go to a lunchtime at school did a fucking lovely Chicken Tikka baguette! RAR!

Said it before and I'll say it again, Tesco's egg and prawn baton was the finest culinary invention the world has ever seen.

I always find a tikka baguette just disintegrates before you have chance to eat it properly. I try and eat the whole thing in one go though, instead of splitting it in half or something. Stupid Daz. :(

Chicken, Avocado & Bacon.

There is not, nor shall there ever be, a better sandwhich filler known to man.

Also, the tesco sausage, egg and ketchup "wedge" is fantastic.

Hot beef rolls, as made by my dad. If he stopped selling those in his pub, nations would fall and civilization would collapse. This is nice weather for tuna and cucumber sandwiches though.

I used to like the chicken tikka but I feel that I have transcended normal tastes and moved onto chicken korma filling.

A man after my own heart!

I'd also like to nominate Sainsbury's curry sandwiches. Don't know if they still do them, but they used to do a 3 pack of chicken tikka, and two others that I can't remember. They were lush...

Hot pastrami and mustard is a good un. Failing that, bacon and swiss cheese always goes down well.

if you want a tikka/korma sandwich just go get a curry, likewise the breakfast combos..........go to a cafe and get a breakfast.

sandwiches should stick to time tested favourites

cheese and onion

ham and mustard

etc etc

Chicken tikka, korma and thai style chicken :)

I buy em almost on a daily basis. Used to get the sushi there until they raised the price of their 4 or 5 piece boxes up to £3.20. Absolutely disgraceful considering the main ingredient is rice.

Incorrect, Pringles or McCoys. With butties is actually the only time I ever eat crisps.
