Everyone who has taken time to plan and organise raids since TOA deserves a huge thanks for the great job they have done and are still doing... but I think Verush and Seksual deserve credit for the extremely well led first waves of raids when no-one had done them before or had a clue what was going on. They and others had to put in an awful lot of time researching raids and those raids were led with kindness, patience and fairness towards everyone.

imo, for someone to be a good public raid leader, they:
- should know what they're doing(having researched in advance and have relevant maps/locs ready)
- shouldn't discriminate against classes
- should keep clam and answer every query directed at them
- shouldn't have sychophantic delusions
- should split the loot fairly, and not keep the best drops for themselves
- shouldn't become abusive towards the raiding party
- should keep a sense of control throughout the raid, to keep morale up oO

There're alot of competent raid leaders in Albion who display these qualities. Linnet had a good run of ML raids which were well done, and I was on an ML3 raid led by Jenkz which went very smoothly.

i second this (except for the sychophantic delusions o/c, but thats just because i don't know what they translate too in DUtch :p)

You forget 1 important thing however: He should be able to make harsh but honest descisions sometimes (specially on 100+ attendee raids).

Must say my favorite is Verush he has an endless supply of patience, and of course the many others mentioned on this thread dont wanna start writing all those names again.

P.S. Those few who tried Flomberts Dartmoor raids know why they were the ultimate experience there was in the game
