Right I've got a gaming laptop I bought last summer I want to sell. It's still top of the line and in perfect condition so I should get a decent price for it. Is there a better alternative to Ebay? I don't really want to pay 10% and then the paypal fee.

Cheers guys

Why? You giving up games or something or aren't you happy with the spec?

Gaming laptops only last 1-2 years max. Specs change so quickly these days. Starting to look for a replacement to my Asus G75 which is 18 months old.

On Topic: My old one usually ends up with son. His usually then becomes the Skype laptop in the lounge. Whatever was there gets recycled by Monica, our Sri Lankan maid. She sends them to her daughter or the local village school.

Not giving up I've just lost interest. If I sell it now I will get far more than if I do when the next batch of new graphics cards come out.

I think I will just go with Ebay.

Used to be true - but not any more.

The specs still change quickly - but games are stagnant and have been for some time. You can run the top-end games at the max resolution for pretty much any gaming laptop - and it'll last...

:) zero % tax helps. Nice not seeing 40-45% of your earnings dissapear before you get it. I live in Dubai for a reason. The high salary, probably twice what I'd earn for the same job in UK, plus villa with a nice pool all helps us expats put up with a lot of shit. Things in general are more expensive here food being the main one. Average spend per week on food is around 200 GBP per week. Water and Electricity is another 200-300 GBP per month. Petrol is cheap, can fill up my FJ for less than 20 GBP.

My Asus G75 came with Geforce 400M Series Graphics card, in GW2 WvW (1900x1200) I get lag and drop frame rate I certainly don't experience on any of my desktops. I did upgrade one of the HDD to Kingston SSDD which helped somewhat. The new 680M GTX which I have played with has no such issue. My reeason for spending 1300 USD to upgrade :)
